Voice Calls in Your Browser: No App Needed
Modern browsers can handle voice calls on their own. Open the page, allow microphone access, and you're connected.
How it works
Browsers include WebRTC, which handles audio capture, encryption and connection setup. No plug-ins or downloads are needed.
One tool that works this way is GhostCall, a no-sign-up voice calling tool.
Allow your microphone
Click Allow when your browser asks for microphone access. If you dismissed the prompt, open the site settings from the icon in the address bar and enable the microphone. On iPhone, also check the microphone setting for Safari.
Troubleshooting
If you can't hear anything, check your volume and output device. If the other person can't hear you, check the selected microphone and make sure no other app is using it. Refreshing the page fixes many temporary glitches.
Make a call without creating an account
GhostCall lets you start a voice call from your browser with no sign-up and no phone number.
